Jeannine first became interested in pursuing a racing career when she was 3 years old. From the first time she saw a junior dragster she knew that she wanted to race cars. For 6 years Jeannine asked her parents every Christmas and Birthday for a dragster. When she was 9 years old she got the best Christmas present of her life. Jeannine won a Division 6 Gold Crown race her first year and continued to win various races throughout her 6 years junior career. Jeannine was only absent from 1 race season, in which she had to have major surgery that bound her to a wheelchair, but she was able to make it to the last 2 events of the season. She won her first event back. One of her most memorable passes was on Father's Day of 2003 when she ran on her dial in to the thousandth of a second while getting a perfect light in the same run. She became the first female junior dragster driver to run a perfect run. Since then she raced for two more years. In November 2005 Jeannine entered the Start Something Amazing Award's contest from Microsoft. She was announced the winner and presented an award by Bill Gates. Since then Jeannine and the Window's Vista team has teamed up with Gotham City, Lend America, Mac Tools, K&N Filters, Torco Fuels and Lucas Oil to present a SuperPro dragster for 2008. |
